Bala House Montessori School hosts annual lemonade stand for children with leukodystrophy
For Earth Day, kindergartners at the Bala House Montessori School hosted their third annual lemonade stand fundraiser to benefit Cal's foundation, the children, many of whom were Cal's classmates from the school's 2 year olds playgroup, all pitched in and raised $100 to help children and families affected by leukodystrophy. Origin + Ash hosts ceramic artist Erika DeBoever and raises $2000
On Saturday, May 7th, Bunny and TR Risk hosted the Nature of Art Show at Origin + Ash in Bryn Mawr, PA where local ceramic artist Erika De Boever showcased a collection of porcelain "greenware." Ms. De Boever and the Risks donated all proceeds from the sales to Cal's Foundation. With a matching gift from Glaxo Smith Kline, where Ms. De Boever works as a researcher, the gift to Cal's foundation will be $2000. Husband and wife owners Bunny and TR Risk opened the shop in 1997
