For Earth Day, kindergartners at the Bala House Montessori School hosted their third annual lemonade stand fundraiser to benefit Cal's foundation, the children, many of whom were Cal's classmates from the school's 2 year olds playgroup, all pitched in and raised $100 to help children and families affected by leukodystrophy. Each year, as part of the event, teachers read the book "Cal's Disease" which offers a beautiful lesson how a community can come together and make a difference in the lives of others.
